Justin Heddinger
Vice President
With 12 + years in the construction industry Justin has worked to implement and assist with oversight of many projects such as Industrial, Manufacturing, Government, Health Care and Data Centers. Focused on the continued growth and development at Diversified Safety, Justin has assisted our wide variety of clients with implementing and adhering to Corporate Safety Plans, Site Specific Safety Plans, and a vast number of project safety needs. Throughout his time in the Safety industry he developed a network of safety professionals across the country to assist clients in quick and cost-effective safety management. Justin understands the constant changes clients face in the construction industry which helps him quickly and efficiently adjust to support any needs that arise.
Kelsey Osgood
Human Resources Generalist
Kelsey is the HR Generalist at DSS where she supports employee relations and wellbeing, recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration and performance management. Kelsey graduated from Salisbury University and has a background in the commercial real estate field previously acting as the chapter administrator for CREWbaltimore. She began her Human Resource career specializing in talent acquisition and management and is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture.
Angie Garcia
Business Development Manager
Angie Garcia is a dynamic Business Development Manager with over seven years of experience in the construction industry, with the past two years dedicated specifically to safety solutions and services. Known for her relationship-driven approach, Angie thrives on building strong partnerships with clients and delivering exceptional service that supports their operational goals and safety priorities. In her role as Business Development Manager at Diversified Safety Services, Angie leads the sales team with a focus on achieving growth targets, expanding the client base, and strengthening long-term customer relationship
Heather Miller
Operations Manager
Heather has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry. After moving to North Harford, Maryland, in 2017, Heather began working with Diversified Safety Services as the Operations Manager. Working closely with clients, as well as employees, to take care of all thing’s safety. Whether it’s helping to implementing safety company policies, scheduling site inspections, reviewing contracts, maintaining technical and reporting systems, as well as serving as the main contact for billing. Heather does her best to provide quick turn around to get clients, as well as employees, the best service available.
Alexandra Placek
Marketing Manager
Alex Placek serves as the Marketing and Recruiting Manager at Diversified Safety Services, where she plays a key role in shaping and executing the company’s brand strategy, outreach efforts, and talent acquisition initiatives. With a strong foundation in communications and business, Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Journalism from Salisbury University and a master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Columbia Southern University. Her unique blend of marketing expertise and recruitment strategy allows her to support both internal growth and external visibility for Diversified.
Jason Hogan
Government Operations Manager
Based out of the Eastern Shore, Jason serves as Diversified Safety’s point of contact for developing existing relationships into lasting relationships with our clients. Jason’s background includes over 25 years of experience in construction and 10 +years in safety management, including government contracts, multifamily and commercial buildings. He is highly experienced in the on-site safety management of large-scale construction, EM385 contracts, hospital renovations and demolition projects. He has developed, implemented, and managed corporate safety programs, policies, procedures, job-site specific safety plans, fall protection plans and job site hazard analysis to impact overall safety performance. Jason has employee oversight in MD, VA, DC, and Delaware. In addition to working on-site with clients to assist their safety needs, he trains the OSHA 10-30 hr. and First Aid and CPR.
Jay Stephan
Field Operations Manager
Jay brings over 20 years of experience in commercial construction, with the last 8+ years focused on safety leadership. His background as an Estimator, Superintendent, and Project Manager has strengthened his expertise in Occupational Safety & Health. Most recently, he served as Corporate Safety Manager for a major HVAC and mechanical systems provider. Jay is an OSHA 500-certified instructor and is qualified to teach OSHA 10/30, CPR/AED, and First Aid. He is also skilled in site inspections, incident investigations, claims management, equipment training, and safety compliance.
Jason Sears
Senior Health and Safety Consultant
Jason Sears is an experienced safety consultant with Diversified, where he has been a key member of the safety team since 2021. In his role, Jason provides comprehensive safety support services including employee training, site safety audits, and the development of customized safety manuals and programs tailored to client needs. He works closely with field teams and management to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a strong safety culture. Prior to joining Diversified, Jason spent four years as the Safety Director at Digging & Rigging Inc., where he led key initiatives to enhance workplace safety and compliance. With a strong background in construction safety and risk management, Jason brings over a decade of hands-on experience to every project he supports.
