With 12 + years in the construction industry Justin has worked to implement and assist with oversight of many projects such as Industrial, Manufacturing, Government, Health Care and Data Centers. Focused on the continued growth and development   at Diversified Safety, Justin has assisted our wide variety of clients with implementing and adhering to Corporate Safety Plans, Site Specific Safety Plans, and a vast number of project safety needs. Throughout his time in the Safety industry he developed a network of safety professionals across the country to assist clients in quick and cost-effective safety management. Justin understands the constant changes clients face in the construction industry which helps him quickly and efficiently adjust to support any needs that arise. 

Heather Miller

Operations Manager

Heather has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry. After moving to North Harford, Maryland, in 2017, Heather began working with Diversified Safety Services as the Operations Manager. Working closely with clients, as well as employees, to take care of all thing’s safety. Whether it’s helping to implementing safety company policies, scheduling site inspections, hiring safety managers, reviewing contracts, maintaining technical and reporting systems, as well as serving as the main contact for billing and payroll processes, Heather does her best to provide quick turn around to get clients, as well as employees, the best service available.

Alexandra Pryor

Marketing & Recruiting Manager

Alex is the Marketing and Recruiting Manager at Diversified, where she works to develop, execute, and monitor the marketing program.  In her four years she has developed and implemented marketing and advertising campaigns, attended trade shows, helped define the organizations marketing strategy and more.  Alex graduated from Salisbury University with her bachelor’s degree in Communications: Public Relations and Journalism and has her masters degree in Business Administration and Marketing at Columbia Southern University. 

Angie Garcia

Business Development Manager

Angie Garcia is a Sales Manager with seven years of experience in the construction industry, focusing the last two years on all things safety.  Driven by relationships, Angie takes pride in providing the best possible service to her clients and doing her part to help send everyone home safely at the end of the day. Angie’s primary tasks are to lead the sales team to reach target goals and expand the current clientele for Diversified Safety.  

Gene Cobb

Safety Consultant/Training Manager

Gene began his safety career in the early 2000’s with the US Navy where he was assigned to the Safety Office. After months of learning the safety culture Gene advanced to a Safety Tech GS Position. Over the years Gene worked as a Safety Manager and Safety Inspector which lead him to Diversified Safety.  Gene began working at Diversified in 2017.  Since then Gene has become a Certified Safety and Health Technician (CHST) and has also been certified to teach various aspects of safety including First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10/30, Aerial Lifts, Confined Space, Silica, Respiratory Protection, Excavations and more. Gene oversees all training questions and inquires along with Site Inspections. Safety is what Gene loves whether is training workers or ensuring that work conditions are safe, he takes pride in his daily activity.  

Jason Hogan

Government Operations Manager

Based out of the Eastern Shore, Jason serves as Diversified Safety’s point of contact for developing existing relationships into lasting relationships with our clients.   Jason’s background includes over 25 years of experience in construction and 10 +years in safety management, including government contracts, multifamily and commercial buildings.  He is highly experienced in the on-site safety management of large-scale construction, EM385 contracts, hospital renovations and demolition projects. He has developed, implemented, and managed corporate safety programs, policies, procedures, job-site specific safety plans, fall protection plans and job site hazard analysis to impact overall safety performance. Jason has employee oversight in MD, VA, DC, and Delaware. In addition to working on-site with clients to assist their safety needs, he trains the OSHA 10-30 hr. and First Aid and CPR.

Jay Stephan

Field Operations Manager

Jay has over 20 years’ expertise in the commercial construction industry with the last 8+ years of his career dedicated solely as a leading safety professional within the industry. His prior experience in the commercial construction sector serving as an Estimator, Superintendent, and Project Manager for multiple Maryland based General Contractors has not only served him well but has also enhanced his overall skillset to transition into his ultimate passion as a proven leader within the field of Occupational Safety & Health.  His most recent role was serving as the Corporate Safety Manager for a leading national provider of HVAC/Mechanical Systems, Building Automation & Controls, Systems Integration, and Emergency Generators headquartered in Maryland. He is also a certified OSHA 500 credentialed OTI instructor qualified to teach OSHA 10 & 30 Hour programs as well as CPR/AED & First Aid.  In addition to training, Jay has diverse proficiency performing functions such as but not limited to site inspections, incident investigations, equipment training, general liability and worker’s compensation claims management, pre-task planning, and recordkeeping.
